Schedule will be 9:
30 AM-6:
00 PM Monday through Friday, with a Saturday rotation.
Should be available for flexible scheduling to cover shifts in our other Sussex county locations.
The earliest shift would be 6:
45am-3:
15pm with the latest shift being 11:
30am-8pm.

Summary:
Answering all incoming calls to schedule studies at multiple sites throughout New Jersey.
Minimum Qualifications Required Education:
High School Degree Licensure:
None Previous
Experience:
1-2 years of experience as a receptionist or clerk in a medical environment or 3-5 years in non-medical environment.
Knowledge, and Abilities:
Proficient in typing and filing.
Competent in the use of office equipment and computers.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
General Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements:
This individual must be capable of:
Gathering all required data, organizing all patient information for the Technician for the specific test being performed, and answering the telephone to schedule appointments or provide directions to the facility.
Equipment Used:
This individual should be proficient in the use of:
Computers, Facsimile Machines, Multi-Line Telephones and Copy Machines.
Employees who work in the Front Desk department must be motivated, organized, and a team-player with a positive attitude.
Duties Include but not limited to:
1.
Welcomes and greets all patients and visitors, in person or over the phones 2.
Answers the phone while maintaining a polite, consistent phone manner using proper telephone etiquette 3.
Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner 4.
Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting patient detailed patient information including personal and financial information 5.
Facilitates patient flow by notifying the provider of patients' arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff 6.
Responds to patients', prospective patients, and visitor inquiries in a courteous manner 7.
Keeps medical office supplies adequately stocked by anticipating inventory needs, placing orders, and monitoring office equipment 8.
Protects patient confidentiality by making sure protected health information is secured by not leaving PHI in plain site and logging off the computer before leaving it unattended.

Confirms patient preps as applicable to the exams 10.
Confirms all appointments in a timely manner 11.
Possesses accurate judgment, especially handling charge and dealing with patient accounts 12.
Versatile and willing to coordinate with and participate in, when necessary, all other aspects of the our other Business Offices and locations 13.
Responsible for collecting payment prior to exams as applicable, keeping accurate log of payment and accurate daily batch of credit card machines.
