- Assist the head football coach in planning, organizing, and implementing practice sessions and game strategies.
- Provide instruction and guidance to players on proper techniques, skills, and rules of the game.
- Assist in evaluating player performance and providing feedback for improvement.
- Help develop game plans and strategies based on opponent analysis.
- Assist in organizing team events, such as team building activities and community service projects.
- Support the head coach in maintaining discipline and enforcing team rules.
- Assist with equipment management and maintenance.
Skills:
- Experience working with students or athletes in a coaching capacity.
- Experience working with Hudl and Google.
- Knowledge of football rules, techniques, and strategies.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey instructions and provide feedback to players.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the head coach and other assistant coaches.
- Excellent organizational skills to assist with practice planning and scheduling.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and serve as a positive role model for players.
