OverviewAtlantic Health System is seeking a Part Time Endoscopy Tech for Newton Medical CenterResponsibilities
Essential Functions:
Provides assistance to the RN's and physicians during procedures. Assists with all types of endoscopic procedures, including emergencies, utilizing endoscopes, accessories, and any therapeutic equipment needed for the procedure. Assists in obtaining biopsy specimens and polyps as directed by the physician and under the direct supervision of an RN. Performs endoscopic and equipment reprocessing per SGNA, CDC, OSHA, and APIC guidelines. Works as a team member by accepting assignments without hesitation and demonstrating flexibility in response to the needs of the department.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. One year related experience preferred and certification as a Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor. Qualifications/Requirements:
Current BLS certification required.
SGNA Associates Program certification and/or CBSPD Flexible Endoscope Reprocessing Certification preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
