OverviewAtlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Manager for Health Information ManagermentResponsibilities
The position is responsibile for Leadership and direct supervision of the Health Information Managerment department for 2 hospitals. The incumbent will manage the functions which ensure the content, format, release and maintenance of health information, ie, Coding, ROI, transcription, deficiency management, etc. Works closely with physicians regarding medical records needs and issues. Must meet hospital system needs and regulatory agency requirements. Collaborates with other health care professionals to ensure appropriate measures are in place to maintain and safeguard the privacy, confidentiality, and security of patient health information. Etablishes, implements and monitors short and long term goals for the department which are in line with the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and valus. Assess and values. Assess and improve staff performance. Oversees the clinical documentation teams at both sites. This position will have a collabortive role in the Epic implementation.
